About Us

School Meter was designed by a New York school district board member to help educators make more effective use of data. It was launched in 2009 and is now used by districts across New York State.

School Meter data services are available to New York State school districts through a CoSer with The Center for Educational Leadership at P/NW BOCES.

School Meter also provides contract analysis services for districts in the Lower Hudson region through The Office of Negotiations Clearinghouse Services.

School Meter would like to thank the many educators whose suggestions and guidance have helped us to enhance and improve our services, as well as our many Technology Partners.

School Meter services are provided by Dark Horse Systems, Inc., a New York State company.
